IDEAS in Upper School

Jayden representing PD and competing in esports game in Kansas City
IDEAS acronym spelled out with related brand colors: Innovation-Design-Entrepreneurship-Analytics-Sustainability

At Providence Day, innovation goes far beyond the use of technology: it is woven into every aspect of teaching and learning. IDEAS at PD offers students the chance to explore and expand their passions and curiosities around innovation, design, entrepreneurship, analytics, and sustainability. This unique program invites faculty and students to work collaboratively across boundaries and at the intersections of traditional disciplines and departments.

Upper School students continue to utilize the IDEASxChange, a creative multi-use space in the Dickson-Hemby Technology Center, expanding on their personal passions using state-of-the-art technology. Students are able to explore fields including finance, engineering, video production, podcasting, Esports, and more. They have extensive access to 3D printers, laser cutters, robotics, and drones that allows them the freedom to be creative and forge a new path.
