Advancement Fellowship

Providence Day School’s Office of Institutional Advancement offers an Advancement Fellowship each year.
The Fellowship is a one-year immersion program for a recent college graduate who has an interest in exploring the Advancement field, particularly in an education setting. It’s intended to be an incubator for young professionals interested in the Advancement field.

The Fellow reports directly to the Associate Head of School for Institutional Advancement and participates in regular mentoring/coaching sessions. The responsibilities of the position provide opportunities for exposure to every aspect of the Advancement office, including time working with the Directors of Alumni Relations, Annual Fund, Advancement Services, and Strategic Marketing & Communications.

The Office of Institutional Advancement team supports the school in the areas of Advancement Services (such as database management and research), Alumni Relations, Annual Fund, Development, and Strategic Marketing & Communications. The school recently concluded a $27.8 million comprehensive campaign that significantly transformed the campus and further established the school’s strong culture of philanthropy.

Upon the successful completion of the Fellowship, Providence Day is committed to supporting the candidate in making the transition to the next step of his or her career.
