Annual Fund

2023-2024 PDS Annual Fund Family of Funds webpage banner

The Annual Fund is Providence Day’s largest yearly fundraiser and gives the entire PD family an opportunity to partner with us as we seek to inspire and equip the world’s next generation of leaders. The funds raised directly and immediately support teaching and learning at PD in alignment with the Strategic Framework born out of a community-wide effort and outlined by the Board of Trustees and school administration.  For this reason, the Annual Fund is a top philanthropic priority of the school.

Family Of Funds

We invite Annual Fund donors to support the yearly needs of the school while also pursuing their personal philanthropic passions. Donors may choose to designate their gift to one of the following areas of the school’s operations they find most meaningful:

PD's Greatest Need

PD's Greatest Need

By choosing this designation, you ensure your gift will be used immediately in the area of school where it is needed most. These gifts help to provide classroom resources and technology, student field trips, global studies programming, and academic budgets among other priorities.

Student Financial Assistance

Student Financial Assistance

Gifts support Providence Day’s commitment to attract talented, motivated students who have a passion for learning.  These funds enable the school to provide financial assistance to qualified families who would otherwise not be able to be part of our community and ensure these students can benefit from a PD education and share their talents with our learning community.

Health and Wellness

Health and Wellness

Gifts are an investment in Providence Day’s continued commitment to fostering an environment of wellbeing for our students, faculty, and staff. Gifts help to sustain and grow student academic support resources and enhance programming for student mental health and wellness.

The Arts

Every student at Providence Day has the opportunity to explore their creativity and express themselves through our rich visual and performing arts programs. Your gift will help to provide curriculum resources, materials, and instruments.

Faculty Support and Professional Development

Faculty Support and Professional Development

Gifts support the outstanding faculty who are the hallmark of a Providence Day education. These funds will help recruit and retain the very best teachers and provide them with opportunities to continually expand their knowledge, sharpen their skills, and, in turn, enhance the educational experiences of our students.

Student Innovation

Gifts support programming and infrastructure to empower our students in their entrepreneurial pursuits and as they design solutions for local and global issues.

Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging

Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging

Gifts support Providence Day’s vision of a learning community rich in diversity of perspectives, talents, and identities in which every member truly feels they belong.  Your gift will help to sustain the Office of Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging and will help to provide support for community-wide continuing education, curriculum development, professional development, and programming that educates and celebrates the richness of our PD family.

Athletics

Athletics

Our robust athletics programming offers students the opportunity to be part of a team while growing in personal physical fitness and character.  Your gift will support our coaches and trainers, equipment, transportation costs, and the upkeep of our athletic facilities and fields.

The Annual Fund Family of Funds supports our students and faculty in the current academic year through the school's operating budget. Should designated contributions exceed a designation's budgeted need, the school will direct contributions to the area of greatest need.
