Like most independent schools, Providence Day depends on philanthropic support from our community in addition to tuition to accomplish our mission on behalf of our students.  So, each year, we ask each member of our community to support the Annual Fund. The Annual Fund is the top philanthropic priority and the foundation of giving at our school.  

Family Of Funds

We invite Annual Fund donors to support the yearly needs of the school while also pursuing their personal philanthropic passions. Donors may choose to designate their gift to one of the following areas of the school’s operations they find most meaningful:

PD's Greatest Need

This designation ensures your gift will go toward the school’s most immediate needs for the year in order to sustain excellence in every aspect of teaching and learning at PD.

Faculty Support and Professional Development

Your gift helps recruit and retain PD’s outstanding faculty and provide them with opportunities to expand their knowledge, sharpen their skills, and enhance the educational experiences of our students.

Student Financial Assistance

Your gift supports PD’s commitment to attract talented, motivated students who have a passion for learning. These funds enable PD to extend financial assistance to as many qualified families as possible.

Student Innovation

Your gift helps provide programming and infrastructure to empower our students in their entrepreneurial pursuits and as they design solutions for local and global issues.

Health and Wellness

Your gift is an investment in PD’s continued commitment to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to student care.

Your gift fuels PD’s vision of a learning community rich in diversity of perspectives, talents, and identities in which every member truly feels they belong.

The Arts

Your gift supports our robust visual and performing arts programs which allow every student the opportunity to explore their creativity and express themselves in ways that inspire us all.

Your gift helps give students the opportunity to be part of a team while growing in personal physical fitness and character.

The Annual Fund Family of Funds supports our students and faculty in the current academic year through the school's operating budget. Should designated contributions exceed a designation's budgeted need, the school will direct contributions to the area of greatest need.
