Students Inducted into Tri-M Music Honor Society

Twenty-five Providence Day School students were recently inducted into the Tri-M Music Honor Society in ceremonies held in the McMahon Fine Arts Center theater.

Thirteen Middle School students were inducted as members of PDS’s junior chapter Oct. 4, and 12 Upper School students were inducted into the senior chapter Oct. 12, bringing the total to 81 current Chapter members. Providence Day’s chapter was inaugurated two years ago under the leadership of Middle and Upper School strings teacher and lead advisor Sarah Russell.

Middle School inductees were Chandler Brooks, Sophia Carlino, Annabelle Cicoletti, Quincy Grier, Katherine Liu, Elizabeth Meadows, Ikenna Oriaku, Nik Pillai, Easton Pransky, Ella Romanowski, Elliott Sykes, Pavan Thakkar, and Jodie Yan.

Upper School inductees were Kelsey Caldwell, Anna Choudary, Spencer Delle Fave, Michael Downing, Rebecca Dunaief, Ingrid Koback, Connor Lewis, John O'Neil, Annie Odom, John Sarantou, Jackson Sykes, and William Wallace.

Sponsored by the National Association for Music Education, the Tri-M Music Honor Society recognizes middle and high school student-musicians for their academic and musical achievements and provides leadership and service opportunities. There are approximately 6,200 participating chapters in several countries.
