The Office of Multicultural Affairs and Social Responsibility has invited The Possibility Project to join us as we celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The event will take place on Thursday, January 14th at 12:45 pm, in the Lecture Hall. It is open to students, parents, faculty, and staff.
The Possibility Project-Charlotte will perform an original theatrical, spoken word piece along with facilitating an interactive discussion examining the challenges and the legacy of the Dream in this generation.
The Possibility Project-Charlotte is an organization that empowers young people to make the changes they want to see in their lives and communities using the performing arts and community action. In its' 15th Season, The Possibility Project-Charlotte has produced over 25 original productions and is featured or partners with a variety of organizations including Market Your Mind (MYM), Race Matters For Juvenile Justice (RMJJ), Teach For America, TEDx Charlotte, and The Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture.
