Providence Day School student musicians and singers once again impressed the judges at the 2018 Carowinds Festival of Music.

Middle School bands, chorus and strings students played and performed during the festival April 13, where they were judged by esteemed music educators that included college and university faculty members.

Each ensemble received a grade and comments from each judge for their performance. 6th grade band, 7th and 8th grade band, 6th grade strings, 7th and 8th grade strings, and 6th-8th grade chorus all earned overall Superior scores.

The Upper School band and strings will perform at the festival April 20, while Upper School chorus will take part in a community service day.
