Technology Director Shares Knowledge with Aspiring Educators

Matt Scully, Technology Director and Upper School Art and Science of Teaching teacher, has been asked to serve as a faculty member for the inaugural Early Career and Aspiring Technology Directors Institute.

Sponsored by the Association of Technology Leaders in Independent Schools (ATLIS), the institute is a yearlong blended learning experience designed to prepare individuals to direct an independent school technology program.

Scully helped lead the first session, a full-day workshop, during the 2016 ATLIS national conference in Atlanta, Ga., in April.

The group will meet again for three days this summer in California, where Scully will teach several sessions on the elements of successful change management, developing professional networks, customer service and vendor relations.

While in Atlanta, Scully also shared the successes of PDS’s Digital Citizenship program as both an ATLIS conference presenter and as keynote speaker for a meeting of the Atlanta Association of Technology Educators.
