Dear Providence Day families:

 

Yesterday afternoon, I was notified that a member of our community has tested positive for COVID-19. The individual, who is a third-party vendor, was last on our campus on Monday, March 9 and subsequently traveled internationally. Upon this person's return to the United States in mid-March this person self-quarantined at home. Later, the individual began to experience symptoms. Families in our community who had known direct contact with this individual on our campus within 14 days of the onset of symptoms have been individually notified. 

Our thoughts are with this individual for a quick recovery.

 

As we know, given the prevalence of community spread which caused our Board of County Commissioners to issue this week's "stay at home" proclamation, it is likely that this disease may impact other members of our community.
