Safety & Security
MISSION
Providence Day is committed to providing a safe, secure, and supportive community for students, faculty, staff, and visitors as part of the school’s enterprise risk management strategy. The all-hazards preparedness approach to school safety includes prevention, protection, mitigation, response, and recovery, following best practices.
All employees complete intensive training and participate in dozens of drills throughout the year with students. Other groups on campus also concern students' safety and security, including the Safety Committee, Risk Committee, Traffic and Event Safety Personnel, and After-Hours Security Guards.
Thank You Parents For Being Key Partners!
Your child’s safety continues to be our highest priority. We will continue to re-evaluate our policies, plans and procedures to ensure we are following best practices suited to the culture of our school environment. Your feedback is valued and we welcome any suggestions and concerns. Please contact the Safety & Security at lemar.harper@providenceday.org.
