Reggie Love's experience as a student athlete, first at Providence Day and later at Duke University, provided him with a unique set of qualifications that have served him well throughout his professional life. While at PDS, Reggie was a member of the men's basketball team, and later went on to captain the basketball team at Duke University and start for the football team. He graduated Duke in 2004 with a major in political science and public policy and minor in history.
Reggie began working for then-Senator Obama as deputy political director in 2006. When Obama won the 2008 presidential election, he chose Reggie as his personal aide and frequent basketball teammate. After serving in this role for three years, he left in 2011 to pursue an M.B.A. at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Named the ABC News "Person of the Week" in January 23, 2009, Reggie is also a speaker with Creative Artists Agency (CAA), which includes an impressive lineup of celebrities, athletes, and musicians. Reggie is a partner and Vice President with Transatlantic Energy Group, and co-founder, with alumni Paul Adkison '86, of Zabra, a company that helps parents monitor children's activity on popular social media sites.
