Providence Day School has nearly 4,000 alumni around the globe. Our alumni are the foundation for the school and this great community. We take pride in preparing and developing our students for life after graduation. 

The Providence Day School Alumni Association works to foster relationships between PD and alumni that encourages participation as lifelong members of the PD community.  The Alumni Association is committed to supporting the mission and success of PD and is represented by the Board of Alumni, a group representing all decades of graduates.  All graduates and former students at PD are considered members of the Alumni Association.

For many, it started as a hobby in basements or garages. “Home brewing” craft beer took off in the 1980s in North Carolina, and “brew pubs” popped up in the 1990s, the predecessors to the craft breweries now proliferating throughout Charlotte and the state. And if you trace both the history and the current state of breweries, you’ll find a surprising number of connections to Providence Day School.
