Summer at Providence Day Camp Registration Begins on January 28

Make plans to register for the 26th season of Summer at Providence Day on January 28! Our tireless teachers and trusted camp partners are already gearing up to show your child the joys of summer camp. Many NEW programs join our lineup, including Camp Spirit, the day camp with a classic sleep-away camp feel. Visit providenceday.org/summer to see the full schedule of camps and PD Academy courses.

Summer at Providence Day is where you’ll find:

  • Programs designed for the varying interests and needs of campers at all stages of development
  • Positive relationships with campers and counselors
  • Nutritious, delicious snacks and lunches
  • Appropriate camper/counselor ratios
  • Administrators with many years of experience in education and child care
  • An environment where fun and safety are equal priorities

Many types of camps will be offered in 2021. Camp Chargers allows students to pursue their favorite sports, engaging their minds AND bodies as they learn the rules of the game, good sportsmanship, perseverance, and other positive traits of winning athletes. Most of our camps are taught by PD’s champion coaches.

Specialty camps allow kids to focus on a particular area of interest at a summer-relaxed pace. The variety of subjects offered means kids can try something new each week. Specialty Camps are grouped into several areas of interest, such as the Arts and STEM, allowing you to search for the right program using the filtering tools.

Additionally, PD Academy offers fully-accredited academic programs for Middle and Upper School students, many of which satisfy semester or year credit. This is where you’ll find math, global studies, physical education, and more.

Our camps offer children opportunities to further their social, emotional, and physical development. By exploring their interests in a safe, nurturing environment, kids gain the confidence to try new things and discover their talents. Based on the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and North Carolina’s Department of Health and Human Services, Summer at PD enacts protocols to protect the health and safety of our camp community. During the five weeks of on-campus programming in 2020, we received no reports of positive COVID-19 cases among our active campers and staff. We welcome your child to join us for Summer 2021!
