Providence Day School Welcomes New Nurses

Providence Day School welcomes two new nurses to the team.

Emily Rusniak RN, BSN is a full-time nurse working directly with Anne Smyth in the Health Office, replacing Donna Roupas who is pursuing other opportunities. She has lived in Charlotte for the past 4.5 years with her husband and is originally from Charleston, WV. They have three fur babies, two cats, and a dog that have them wrapped around their little fingers. "I'm very much looking forward to meeting the students and faculty," says Rusniak. She has been a nurse for six years.

Lisa O'Neal, MSN, MS, BSN, BA, ACNP-BC, ANP-BC is also excited to join the PD community and the Extended Day family. She has three children here in the Lower School; a fifth grader, a third grader, and a first grader. "I look forward to meeting all of your little ones and making sure they are healthy and well," says O'Neal. She joins Smita Sawyer part-time at Extended Day.
