Ten Students Advance in History Bee Competition

Ten Students Advance in History Bee Competition

At Providence Day, the History Bee, a buzzer-based history quiz competition held throughout the U.S., is developing into a strong tradition - particularly for a group of eighth graders who have been competing together since 6th grade.

Ten PD students have now qualified for the regionals level of the competition: 8th graders Reed and Bayne Nobili, Davis Howard, Josh Holl, Ascher Denton, Grace Ellsworth, and Brandon Hollis; and 7th graders Pavan Thakkar, Reed Zimmerman, and George Hinton.

Three of those students qualified for the national competition last year. This year, the national History Bee will be held in June.
