Providence Day Model UN Team Traveling to Berkeley, California

A team of 32 Upper School students won multiple awards at the Chapel Hill Model UN Conference this past weekend, accompanied by faculty advisors Jeremiah Rosenfels and Emily Young. The competition ended with an award ceremony, in which these students won the following prizes:

Honorable Delegate --Ashu Ebsa (12) and Chotoo Amin (12)

Verbal Commendation -- Sam Schulman (10), Jerry Li (12), and Robert Veres (11)

Best Delegate -- Cody Constantine (11)

The PD Model UN team will travel to Berkeley, CA this coming weekend for their next conference. “This weekend's trip to CA will be highly competitive with nearly 2,000 students attending,” said Rosenfels. This year, over 75 Providence Day students are attending five different conferences -- in addition to Chapel Hill and Berkeley, the conferences included one at Appalachian State University and two in Charlotte.
