Lower School Science Olympiad Team Wins First Place

Congratulations to our PDS Lower School Science Olympiad Team! A combined team of 36 fourth and fifth graders competed at the NCSO Cabarrus County Tournament on Saturday April 13, 2019 winning a total of 42 individual medals in 19 events, securing a first-place overall finish, and bringing home a team trophy.

 

North Carolina Science Olympiad enriches and enhances opportunities in STEM education, improves science literacy skills through problem-based challenges, and celebrates collaboration and student effort.
