For the past ten years, the Dining Service at Providence Day School has been provided by Flik Independent School Dining (FISD). FISD believes in using the freshest ingredients and utilizes local products whenever possible. Flik at Providence Day is also certified as a Green Restaurant by the Green Restaurant Association.
When it comes to the food, FISD serves restaurant quality food in a school setting. A main serving area with five destinations along with a separate line for Lower School children serves a variety of food choices from downhome favorites to dishes from around the world. Our Take3 Give3 station is the first and only concept of its kind. This station offers smaller portioned items and allows the student to choose one item or three. This station also helps us fulfil our commitment to the community as a portion of each purchase price is given to a charity which is chosen each year by the students.
FISD at Providence Day has the luxury of a Management staff with over 20 years of industry experience and a Dining Hall staff that takes pride in serving the students, faculty, and staff.
